Big Dog Digital is proud to introduce the new online home of Misean Cara, an Irish-based charity working to bring about transformation through supporting missionary organisations and their partners.

Over the past few months, we’ve worked closely with the team over at Misean Cara in order to design a website that properly suits their specific needs. Given the nature of Misean Cara’s work, their website required some specific features not found on traditional websites.

Given that many of Misean Cara’s members work in countries with limited Wi-fi and poor Internet access, for instance, it was necessary to design a website that could be accessed by members both at home and abroad. As a result, Big Dog provided Misean Cara with both a regular bandwidth version of the website and a low bandwidth version of the site, which is now accessible to visitors with poor Wi-Fi connections. This means that Misean Cara’s members can now access the website from anywhere in the world.

Alongside this important feature, Big Dog also updated and revamped Misean Cara’s online membership system. On top of this, we have also ensured that miseancara.ie is capable of being viewed on a wide range of platforms. Drawing on the techniques of responsive design, we have ensured that our client’s website will re-scale automatically to fit whatever device it’s being viewed on, whether be it iPad, smartphone or laptop. This new feature has drastically improved visitor accessibility and overall navigation.

With its new, attractive design and user-friendly interface, miseancara.ie now serves as the perfect online home for our friends’ over at Misean Cara.
